Over 130 surgeries performed at the new Kenneth Matiba Eye and Dental Hospital

About 600 EA doctors to undergo advanced cancer, neurology training

 About 600 medical specialists in East Africa will undergo a four-year medical training fellowship in a move expected to help improve rate of early detection and treatment of cancer and neurological diseases.   The fellowship is also expected to address the ratio of doctors to patients in the region’s growing population.   Kenya, for instance, has about 22 neurosurgeons — 12 of which are paediatrician neurologists.... County buys medical kit to boost healthcare

 The equipment includes 50 digital blood pressure machines, nine stethoscopes, 25 manual blood pressure machines, three nebulisers, 16 gun thermometers and 50 digital thermometers. Doc off to Tanzania to help locals desperate for care

Kenya to acquire vital equipment to aid fight against cancer, First Lady told
