Sh38b managed medical project now bearing fruit for Kenyans

 In 2013, the national government came up with an ambitious plan to equip county hospitals in partnership with county governments. Kenya to donate Sh500m to global fund to fight HIV, TB and malaria

Major boost for Kidney patients as 37 graduate to offer specialized health services

Over 130 surgeries performed at the new Kenneth Matiba Eye and Dental Hospital

About 600 EA doctors to undergo advanced cancer, neurology training

 About 600 medical specialists in East Africa will undergo a four-year medical training fellowship in a move expected to help improve rate of early detection and treatment of cancer and neurological diseases.   The fellowship is also expected to address the ratio of doctors to patients in the region’s growing population.   Kenya, for instance, has about 22 neurosurgeons — 12 of which are paediatrician neurologists....
