Turkey donates health equipment to Kiambu hospital

 The Turkish government yesterday donated Sh3.5 million health equipment to Kiambu Level-4 Hospital. Turkish ambassador to Kenya Deniz Eke presented the paediatric medical equipment.   He said Turkey is working with hospitals and health institution to improve their conditions. Govt. establishes clusters to strengthen human resource for health in counties

 The Human Resource for Health Interagency Coordinating Committee (HRH-ICC) has established nine county clusters to address the human capital challenges in the country. Tanzania's leading medical facility set to perform kidney transplant

 Tanzania's leading medical facility Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) will next year begin performing kidney transplant surgery, saving millions of dollars spent by the east African nation for referring patients abroad, an official said on Thursday.   Hedwiga Swai, the MNH Director of Medical Services, said the medical facility has secured 1.8 million U.S. dollars from the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) for the construction.... Sh1.7b to boost better storage of biomedical materials
